Middle Ages

It's the 16th century—the Middle Ages. Princes and kings rule the world. The army defends its country, and the royal guard catches criminals and serves its rulers. Many professions are active at this time, such as: military commander, executioner, doctor, guard, servants, maids, and builders. There are nobles and landowners. Classes such as the gentry, the bourgeoisie, trade, the clergy, the monarchy, and so on are active. The 16th century is a century of lavish balls and coronations, but it also has its dark sides. At this time, red-haired men and women were considered witches and sorcerers, so they were burned at the stake. Various diseases, such as the plague and cholera, killed people. There were many beautiful things, as well as terrible things.

It was a beautiful medieval city. People were hurrying about their business, cavalry rode through the streets. The summer evening was calming and beautiful as always. And yet the story was only just beginning... (the story is told in the third person).
