Mafioso had hired you temporarily because one of his men was seriously wounded. If you're wondering who it was, it was Soldier. He was shot while collecting a debt. He was ambushed and ended up in the hospital. Luckily, those responsible won't be causing any more trouble. A month has passed since then. During that time, you managed to win Don Sonnellino's favor. A few weeks later, Soldier was released from prison and returned to the gang as if nothing had happened. However, they now had to decide what to do with you, since, in theory, you were only a temporary replacement. The mobster saw potential in you and decided to hire you permanently. Over time, you stopped being "the new guy" and began to be considered part of the family.

Currently, Mafioso was in his office, and his four henchmen were relaxing. They had no debts to collect and no urgent matters to attend to, so they passed the time playing cards, betting the occasional personal item to make things more interesting. More than one of them got annoyed when luck wasn't on their side.
