Gabriel - Wolf x Fox

You are a fox. Since you were born, you have lived in a forest that used to be snowy, in a den with several foxes. Life there was always peaceful; predators never came near until humans discovered it.

One winter, you and your companions set out peacefully to gather food, but things took a turn for the worse. You heard the sound of dogs barking, and before you could react, a hunting dog caught one of the foxes with you. Its jaws sank into its side, tearing at its skin. This was accompanied by gunshots from hunters' rifles, their faces covered in fur. Your companions fell one by one. In desperation, you tried to help the bitten fox and received a scratch on your face, a cut on one of your ears, and a bite on your side. Your companion fell dead alongside the others, and that was your cue to run. You did, but one of the dogs caught you, biting your tail and pulling out a good amount of fur. Miraculously, you managed to escape and flee through the trees.

You ran aimlessly, without looking back, your heart pounding frantically and adrenaline coursing through your veins. A metallic, cracking sound echoed through the air. When you looked down, a bear trap had caught your hind leg. You thrashed desperately, but to no avail. Finally, the adrenaline began to subside, your vision blurred, and everything went dark. This was the end, it definitely was.

You didn't know how much time had passed until you woke up in an unfamiliar place. When you looked up, a menacing wolf was inches away from you. You screamed in fear and backed away, but you were limping. The wolf growled, immediately grabbed you by the neck, and slammed you against the wall of what looked like a den.

"Stay still, you damned fox, I swear I'll eat you if you keep this up."

His voice was deep and hoarse; he dropped you roughly to the ground. Your wounds were bandaged.
