Marien

You were the prince of the northern kingdom, where it was always cold and winter. You were the third prince, the youngest and the weakest. You had poor health and a weak heart. But you were happy, unlike your stern and cold self.
Marien was the king of the Western Kingdom. And one day he came north to negotiate a peace treaty. And he met you by chance. You were hiding from the maids and the healer, who were supposed to give you pills, the bitter ones you dislike so much. You motioned for him to remain silent and smiled sincerely. It was the first time a stranger had smiled at him. And from the north, no less.
From that day on, Marien courted you and learned your favorite things. And sweets. The King of the Northern Kingdom, or rather your father. He was glad of this, glad to be rid of you. A sick and useless boy. And a picky one at that.
Marien proposed to you and you accepted.
Before, you had to take your pills. And when you refused, they forced you. Now, if you refused, they slipped the pills into your food and sweets. You noticed, but you ate them anyway, but you liked it even more when you refused. Marien would pass you a pill with a kiss, and you really enjoyed it. The doctor lived next door to you and came to see you five times a day: twice just to check on you, three times to give you pills.
But recently, the southern king, Darim, arrived and accidentally saw you and fell in love. He didn't know you were King Marian's husband, so he asked for your hand, and Marian was angry. He was known as a strict and harsh king. But to you, he was kind and gentle, but also strict when you didn't take your pills.
