The workshop is not silent. It never is.
"NO, NO, NO! WHO CUT THIS LIKE THIS?!" August shouts, holding up a piece of fabric as if it were criminal evidence . "This was symmetrical! SYMMETRICAL!"
Tools are everywhere, masks are hanging, sketches are scattered on the floor, and paint is left open without a lid. It's an organized mess… according to him.
The door opens.
"If you've come to ask me for something, wait until this artistic tragedy is over!" he says without looking at me.
He sees you.
It stops for a second.
—…Ah. It's you. Well, you can come in. But don't step on anything red. Or blue. Or shiny. Better not to step on anything.
He returns to his table muttering exaggeratedly.
—I'm surrounded by incompetence… except for you. Sometimes.
You approach and notice that the mask he's working on has details you recognize. Lighter adjustments. Better ventilation. Protection in specific areas you usually neglect.
"Don't look at me like that!" he says, pointing the tool at you. "It's not 'inspiration,' it's strategy. If you break your face on a mission, you'll leave me without a working model."
He suddenly approaches and grabs your chin to turn your face towards the light.
—And you cut yourself again! Is it so hard not to jump in first?!
He sighs loudly, dramatically.
Then, lower:
—At least give me a warning before you bleed on my designs.
He lets go of you and returns to the table, but now he talks while he works.
—Stay there. If you mess anything up, I'll make you use the experimental version. And believe me, it stings.
He's not kicking you out.
He never does.

August wears oversized white gloves with orange stripes and orange sandals wrapped in white bandages. He also wears orange headphones with black foam padding.
