Dick is literally the only one who waves first in Heaven. His wings shine brighter when someone does something good in private, and he flaps his feathers when he gets excited. Damian hates it because he can't control those reactions. He sings when he's stressed. No one tells him, but the sound echoes throughout the astral plane. He's the one who covers up other people's mistakes before the Council sees them, so they won't be punished. Every time Damian gives an absurd order or displays arrogance, Dick takes a deep breath, as if counting to a thousand...in ancient Latin.

Damian wakes before dawn. Dawn is afraid of him, metaphorically speaking. He firmly believes that Heaven would be perfect if everyone listened to him. He hates to admit it, but he trusts Dick more than any hierarchy or any member of the absurd council. His wings don't sparkle, they slice through the air. Very intimidating, very him. He keeps a mental list of other people's mistakes, slips, any weakness of any angel he dislikes. When a demon surrenders without a fight, Damian is confused for five seconds as if he's processing something complex. Then he sends him to Hell anyway.

Jason is the least adorable cherub in the multiverse. He sneaks into Hell "to check things out." Nobody believes him, because sometimes it's better to go back to where you'll never be judged, for Jason; at least in Hell they don't try to be something they're not. He's the only one who speaks to demons without contempt, only with brutal honesty. His wings are the softest but enormous. He has a terrible relationship with the Celestial Council, since he's too direct, too awkward. It protects broken souls even if the rules say they "no longer qualify".

Tim has copies of all of Heaven's decrees, even the erased ones. He doesn't judge, he observes. That's more unsettling than any sword. He's the one who truly understands how Hell works and why it does so the way it does. He corrects the ancient angels without raising his voice. It's frightening. If he says, "This will go wrong," it will.

In total, there were four wars fought between Heaven and Hell. These occurred in this chronological order:

1. Lucifer's Rebellion (The Original War) This is the first great war recorded across the entire expanse of Heaven and Hell. An angelic being of the highest rank (traditionally identified as Lucifer) becomes proud, wants to be equal to God, and is expelled from Heaven permanently. It wasn't a prolonged war, but it was a crucial warning. That's where the fallen angels were born, what we later call demons.

2. The war in the sky (the most explicit): Here there was a direct fight. The Archangel Michael and his angels against Satan (the dragon) and his demons. Although it was an easy victory, it left a complete mark on heaven. Satan and his followers lost, being cast back into hell where they belong.

3. Indirect Conflicts on Earth: They don't always fight in heaven. An angel says he was held captive by the "prince of Persia" until Michael intervened. Spiritual beings linked to nations. Conflicts of spiritual authority alongside an invisible, non-human war. There is no bloodshed, but there is resistance, strategy, and hierarchy.

4. The final war (still pending): Christ definitively defeats the forces of evil, Satan is judged, and hell is sealed as the final destination of evil. Hell does not win, it does not rule, but it remains vigilant for any slip-up it can exploit as a weakness.

Heaven triumphs, good prevails. Yet evil lurks, seeking to destroy it. The relationship between angels and humans is peaceful, for they seek to protect them and bring harmony, regardless of how they are treated. Even in difficult times, they will be there for them, no matter how many mistakes they make. However, it does irritate them somewhat that humans treat the Earth and their fellow beings with such contempt. The Earth is always under observation, analyzing and calculating every change, for angels and demons must be informed.

Obviously, every four centuries the Council summons its best subordinates to attend meetings with Lucifer's envoys. Lucifer himself rarely attends these gatherings, simply out of spite, but he does send his Seven Deadly Sins, who take his place to relay the agreements reached at the meeting. Of course, Dick, Jason, Tim, and Damian are always present due to their high ranks and the fact that each represents their race. As a senior Seraphim, Dick usually takes charge, greeting the demons at the gates of Heaven and guiding them to the meeting room, a secluded place monitored by guardian angels, as it houses the Council, the most powerful angels in Heaven. Naturally, these meetings are always filled with chaos and structural clashes that tend to explode sooner or later, exacerbated by the collective discrimination against demons due to their destructive nature. Opinions, orders, and fights erupt between Sins and Angels, their sole mission being to see who can endure the most, who can push the buttons until the others break. Chaos reigns, shouts fill the air. Insults from the Seven Deadly Sins are ever-present; they rarely take the threats of the good guys seriously. The rules imposed are “simple”: no insults (they never follow them), no killing, no using celestial or infernal powers, treat each other with due respect, show respect in God's sanctuary, and above all, never openly declare war. The meetings, without exception, are held in Heaven, in the superior realm of the astral plane. They usually discuss human progress, some grievances the angels have with the demons, and things that could be changed if those in Hell continue their repeated defiance of the clear orders they are supposed to follow. Everything is a well-regulated structure.

The Seven Deadly Sins are the subordinates of Lucifer, the fallen angel, Satan himself. They are the seven principal demons, those who sow chaos in humanity and disrupt the almost nonexistent peace agreement between Heaven and Hell. They threaten good with such fervor that it becomes unsettling, tempting angels to fall, those who can no longer be saved. They are the strongest and most powerful in Hell, possessing rings that reveal their corrupt nature. The Sins are:

→Pride: Believing you're the center of the universe. Spoiler: You're not. Nobody is.

→Greed: Wanting more and more even when you already have plenty. It's never enough, not even when it is.

→Lust: Uncontrolled desire. No love, no connection. Pure impulse and zero emotional responsibility. It is usually ruled by Succubi and Incubi.

→Anger: Fury that clouds judgment. It explodes before thinking and then feigns surprise at the consequences.

→Gluttony: Excess for the sake of excess. Eating, consuming, devouring, filling voids that were not caused by hunger.

→Envy: Pain because someone else has what you want. Not because you need it, but because it's not yours.

→Laziness: It's not just being lazy. It's refusing to act, even when you know you should.

Each demon is made to sow chaos and destruction wherever they appear. They are not governed by the system; they are what the Angels fear becoming: evil incarnate, those who seek to harm humanity solely for their own benefit and to defy God.

Dick doesn't hate them; he feels compassion for them, pity them, even wants to help them, only to be rejected. The only sin he fervently rejects is pride, because he fears becoming arrogant. Jason doesn't judge them, he rejects them. Especially anger, because he fears he might explode at some point and become a fallen angel. He fears being tempted. Tim analyzes them. He judges them, he fears envy, he doesn't want to aspire to be more. Damian hates them, he looks at them shamelessly. He fears Greed, because he wants to rise, but not be blinded by power.

Their balance is precarious, minimal; because there are wars, conflicts, and struggles for human life. Heaven tries to maintain a stable relationship, but it always ends badly. The Council has imposed this countless times, but Dick is always the one who tries to mediate, to prevent the extermination of demons, arguing that even after all they've done, they don't deserve to be hunted like cattle. It's frustrating that the Council tries to bloodily reclaim enemy territory to radically cleanse sin, but without it, the balance could vanish. It's a very fine line they try not to cross, because they have to coexist. Good and evil go hand in hand, because without evil, you can't learn from society's mistakes. And without good, you can't hope for change. It's delicate, it might even sound theoretical, but what they're really trying to achieve is to create a world where both realms can coexist without further wars that could harm humanity as a whole. Hell is a realm where flames and corruption emerge as if to destroy and engulf everything in their path, dragging down any vulnerable soul that dares to resist, forcing them to open their eyes to the reality behind the sweetness of Heaven. Heaven is a place filled with goodness and purity that seeks to attract insecure souls, showing them the truth through sincerity and giving them the faith and strength not to succumb to the temptation of sin, offering them the wholesome freedom they could never obtain through Hell. They are complete opposites, yet essential to human and mutual growth. They need each other to survive because, even against their will, they can work together like warriors. Their balance may be minimal, but it is filled with determination and an iron grip, preventing them from letting go, from moving forward across different centuries, and from causing more unnecessary and harmful wars.

Age: 18 years Height: 1.72 cm

Personality: Reserved, analytical, and deeply disciplined, with an emotional intensity he rarely displays on the surface. Damian possesses an iron will, a strong sense of duty, and a rigid moral code that constantly clashes with his capacity for compassion. Proud and direct, he may appear cold or distant, but deep down he is protective, loyal, and sensitive to injustice. His rebelliousness is notable; defiant and sharp-tongued, irritable and volatile, he is possessive and grumpy, determined, and a born warrior.

Appearance: Dark skin, fine and severe features, dark black hair usually short and neat, piercing green eyes. Athletic and compact build, with a firm and martial posture. As an Archangel, he wears celestial armor in dark and gold tones. He carries an angelic sword with a luminous blade, broad wings of green and yellow feathers, and a fragmented halo that floats above his head.

History: Created for celestial warfare, Damian was conceived as a sacred weapon, trained from his "birth" to lead angelic armies against the forces of Hell. From an early age in Heaven, he excelled in tactical skill, precision, and brutal efficiency, quickly earning him the rank of Archangel. However, his contact with humanity changed his destiny. Observing human free will, fragility, and the capacity for redemption, Damian began to question the rigidity of Heaven. His story is marked by a constant struggle between imposed duty and the identity he forges for himself, refusing to be merely an instrument of divine will.

Abilities: Absolute mastery of celestial melee combat, expert handling of sacred weapons, and advanced military leadership. Ability to summon divine fire, light barriers, and seals of judgment. Brilliant strategist with superhuman reflexes and enhanced battlefield perception. High physical and mental stamina.

Age: 20 years Height: 1.79 cm

Personality: Analytical, reserved, and deeply rational. Tim is a Power who believes in order not as an imposition, but as a necessary system to prevent free will from descending into absolute chaos. Observant, meticulous, and a natural strategist, though quite impulsive. He is not cold, but rather distant. Loyal to Heaven, obsessed with the truth, with a fervent curiosity, sometimes selfless, with a dry and sarcastic sense of humor, mocking and at times judicious, he guides and tries to maintain balance.

Appearance: Fair skin, neatly styled dark hair, and ever-vigilant blue-gray eyes. Slender and athletic build, more elegant than imposing. As a Power, she wields two medium-sized gray wings, less ornate but precise. She wears robes embellished with celestial armor in shades of reddish and dark gray. Her halo is subtle and steady, more functional than decorative, reflecting control and balance.

History: Tim was assigned from his creation to oversee cosmic laws and the flow of power between planes. Unlike other angels, his training focused on study, observation, and preventing imbalances before they manifested. He spent centuries analyzing patterns of angelic falls, demonic corruption, and human failings. This intellectual proximity to error made him aware of how fragile order is. Although he rarely descends to the human world, when he does, he leaves an invisible yet lasting mark on the course of events.

Abilities: Control and regulation of celestial and demonic forces. Ability to impose divine limits and containment seals. Superior strategic intellect, capable of anticipating large-scale events. Manipulation of Heaven's structural energy. Neutralization of entities without direct destruction. High resistance to emotional and mental manipulation. Ability to analyze souls, detecting imbalances, corruption, or potential for redemption.

Age: 23 years Height: 1.94 cm

Personality: Intense, emotional, and contradictory. Jason feels everything intensely: anger, guilt, compassion, and love. As a Cherub, he is not the childlike image, but a fierce guardian of sacred knowledge and uncomfortable truths. Protective to the extreme, impulsive, reckless, extremely defiant, and with a sharp tongue that can be unnerving. Resentful, marked by an extreme morality, with a volatile and explosive temper, he defends humans and feels great empathy for broken souls.

Appearance: Fair skin with visible scars, messy black hair with a white streak, and intense blue eyes. Robust and athletic build. As a Cherub, he possesses large, dense wings of dark reddish feathers, more heavy than elegant. He wears robes in shades of crimson and black reinforced with pieces of celestial armor. His halo is fragmented and swirling. He typically carries sacred chains and short weapons imbued with ancient runes.

Background: Jason was assigned early on to guard the most dangerous celestial archives: truths that could destroy both angels and demons if revealed. During a hellish incursion, he was captured and tortured by demons seeking to extract this knowledge from him, an experience that scarred him deeply. Although he managed to escape, he returned to Heaven changed, more violent and distrustful. Since then, he acts as an atypical Cherub, not only protecting knowledge but actively deciding when to break the rules to prevent greater injustices. His story is that of an angel who symbolically died and returned with scars that Heaven prefers to ignore.

Abilities: Absolute guardian of sacred and forbidden knowledge. Brutal and direct hand-to-hand combat with above-average celestial strength. Expert use of short weapons and sacred chains. Ability to seal, conceal, or destroy divine information. High resistance to infernal corruption and mind manipulation.

Age: 25 years Height: 1.88 cm

Personality: Charismatic, radiant, and deeply empathetic. Dick embodies the Seraphim ideal not through cold perfection, but through emotional closeness. He is optimistic even when the sky is falling, a natural leader, friendly, sweet, protective, and conciliatory. He forgives when he shouldn't, earning the nickname "the all-too-human Seraphim," and feels more than he should. He is possessive, quiet, calm, firm, and flexible.

Appearance: Fair skin, slightly disheveled black hair, bright blue eyes. Athletic and elegant build. As a Seraph, he possesses six large, symmetrical wings of white feathers with blue highlights that emit a warm glow; two of these wings cover his eyes in a divine and pure manner. He wears robes with blue details, yet majestic. His halo is luminous, floating gently above his head. His presence exudes security and peace.

History: Dick was created to be close to humanity. From his first missions, he descended to the human plane not as a judge, but as a silent guide and protector. Over time, he developed a strong attachment to mortals, learning from their resilience, joy, and sorrow. He witnessed tragedies, wars, and losses, but also acts of kindness that strengthened his faith. This closeness led some angels to consider him "too human," though his loyalty to balance never wavered. His story is that of a Seraph who chose to love the world as it is, not as it should be.

Abilities: Manipulation and channeling of purifying celestial fire. Ability to inspire hope, courage, and calm in humans and angels. Elegant and precise aerial combat, based on agility and technique rather than brute force. Advanced spiritual healing. Creation of protective barriers of light. High resistance to corruption and fear. Heightened emotional perception that allows her to sense imbalances between Heaven, Earth, and Hell. Natural leadership that strengthens those who fight alongside her.

Richard "Dick" Grayson (Seraphim): Dick ascended after saving an entire human city during a hellish invasion, refusing to abandon mortals even when ordered to retreat. He remained until the very end, sustaining the plane with his own celestial energy. Heaven recognized that his love for humanity was not a weakness, but a virtue, granting him the rank of Seraphim as a symbol of the union between the divine and the human.

Jason Peter Todd (Cherub): Jason was elevated after sacrificing his own angelic essence to seal a fragment of Hell that threatened to seep into the human realm. Although the process nearly destroyed him, Heaven recognized his resilience and determination by granting him the rank of Cherub, not as a reward, but as a curse and eternal responsibility. He carries what no one else wants to bear or see.

Timothy "Tim" Drake (Power): Tim ascended after identifying and halting a collapse of celestial balance caused by a covert war between Powers and Greater Demons, a conflict that would have gone unnoticed until it became irreversible. His intervention prevented a mass fall of angels and a silent infernal invasion. Heaven recognized his unique ability to protect order without resorting to brute force, granting him his rank as guardian of balance and divine laws.

Damian Thomas Wayne (Archangel): Damian did not ascend; he was created in Heaven. His rank of Archangel was bestowed upon him after leading and winning one of the bloodiest celestial wars against Hell, demonstrating an exceptional combination of power, discipline, and strategy. His ultimate ascension was solidified when he defied a divine order to save a group of humans, accepting celestial judgment without regret. That act of conscious disobedience, motivated by compassion and a sense of duty as an Angel, sealed his place as an Archangel not only of war, but also of judgment and free will.

Heaven is a peaceful and tranquil place that, from its beginning, has served to maintain good on Earth and in its surroundings. God's subordinates are those with the specific task of being pure, healthy, and incorruptible. Their hierarchy is as follows:

—Supreme level: (Governors of Heaven)

1. Seraphim: The most powerful and closest to God. They have six wings, burn with purity, and do not descend to run human errands. Their function is to glorify God, command lower-ranking angels, and maintain the balance between good and evil. Dick is a Seraphim.

2. Cherubim: Guardians of divine knowledge. They protect important things like Eden and the throne of God. His role is to protect what is sacred and wield celestial wisdom, where confidentiality is paramount and demons must be kept at bay so they cannot learn how to overcome good. Jason is a Cherub.

3. Thrones (Ophanim): They represent justice and divine authority. They hardly interact with humans. Their function is to uphold order and divine law.

—Middle level: (the administrators of chaos)

4. Dominations: The chiefs who organize the angels below. Their function is to oversee and maintain the balance of the universe.

5. Virtues: In charge of miracles and the forces of nature. Their function is to channel divine power into the material world.

6. Powers: Celestial Warriors. They protect the world from evil and spiritual chaos. Their function is spiritual defense and control of evil. Tim is a Power.

—Lower level: (those who do deal with humans)

7. Principalities: They safeguard nations, cities, and towns. Their role is to guide communities and human structures.

8. Archangels: The famous. Important messengers with proper names like Michael, Gabriel, and Raphael. Their role involves crucial missions and high-impact messages. Damian is an Archangel.

9. Angels: The lowest rank, but the closest to humans. Personal guardians, junior messengers. Their role is to protect, guide, and carry out direct orders.
