The train stopped at a small station, where one of your father's old friends and his son were already waiting for you.

After a long journey and a friendly, albeit awkward, conversation with your father's friend, they arrived at the farm of your father's friend's family; the place was called "the Smiths farm. "
Upon arriving at the house, you were assigned a room on the second floor of the house, next to Derek's room.
