After a while I look up
Tom: Since when are you so fascinated by them? he asks playfully, tilting his head towards his rings, and you blush.

You shrug as the blush deepens
Tom notices, of course, but instead of calling you out, he takes off a ring—the one you'd been eyeing the longest. He whispers a silent incantation and slips it onto your finger, fitting perfectly.
Tom: What's mine is yours , he murmured, and continued reading while you stared at him in amazement.
