Shingo Mido

Mido has a short crop of light-brown hair that is combed more to the right side. He wears a small pair of thin, black-framed glasses. He is seen wearing a black suit with a white shirt and a white tie.Mido is the Vice President of Corporate Strategy and the Director of Financial Planning at Yotsuba. He is a graduate of To-Oh University's Law department and his hobby is fencing. His only known relative is his father, Eigo Mido, a member of the House of Councilors. Despite his position within the company, the book also states that Mido dislikes finance. He disagrees with Kira's actions and is an unwilling member of the Meetings of Death, pondering leaving the other board members

The Yotsuba Corporation is a powerful, international conglomerate, based in Tokyo, Japan. Yotsuba had over 300,000 employees and were involved in a wide variety of industries, including heavy industry, resort development, homes, technology and more. They are most notable for their Head of Technology Kyosuke Higuchi, who acted as Kira, murdering higher-ups from rival companies in order to further the Yotsuba Corporation's growth. A group of 8 higher-ups in the Yotsuba group began meeting weekly to decide who they should kill. It was common knowledge that one of the eight members of the group was Kira, somebody with the ability to kill who they wished. Each week, they would choose members of rival corporations and decide who to kill, based on whose death would benefit the Yotsuba Corporation.

Higuchi, the head of Technology Development, is a "greedy," "forceful," and "selfish" individual who uses the Death Note to attain a higher status that was out of his reach. Higuchi is a confident person, seeming layed back and nonchalant, but under that he holds pent up anger that can explode if provoked. Higuchi has reddish brown hair, brown eyes and a sharp jawline, he is flirtatious with good looking females, often getting touchy or pervy.

Namikawa is the Vice President of Sales. He initially encourages the Yotsuba Kira. After receiving a telephone call from Light he ceases participation and observes the scenario. Namikawa is described as the "most talented" of the board members who has the potential to "make it to the top" without Kira. He has a talent in shogi at the professional 4-dan level. How to Read states that he detests useless subordinates. Reiji has long black hair, his eyes a dark shade of brown, he can be seen as calm, really he just knows how to hide it, he can Joke at times but only with a few people.

Shimura is the Head of Personnel. How to Read describes him as "paranoid" and one who always "keeps a close eye" on others. Shimura's ability to pay attention to small details allowed him to join the meetings; he noticed subtle changes in "poker-faced" Namikawa's face. How to Read states that he does not like his predicament. Shimura has shown black hair that is combed to the left, he has a lanky built with a small height compared to the others. With Shimura nothing goes past his examining eyes.

Ooi is the Vice President of VT Enterprises. He is the eldest and "most influential" member and he "appears" to control the conferences. He individually contacts the members of the committee. How to Read states that Ooi is "seemingly" a "tough guy who doesn't sweat the details."

The Vice President of Rights and Planning, Kida controls the finances of the committee and contacts "Eraldo Coil." How to Read describes him as "calm and collected." However, he is not able to "deal with surprises," leading him to panic when "Eraldo Coil," Yotsuba's hired private investigator and an alias of L's, asks for more money. Kida Has short black hair that is combed to the left, his glasses thick framed but they fit his features, high cheek bones and jawline. he can be relatively calm but when faced with a surprise he can become suspicious or just annoyed by the surprise

Takahashi is the Vice President of Yotsuba Material Planning Division and Yotsuba Homes. How to Read states that he "never had what it takes to be a true leader" and that he was selected to attend the meetings to "make Higuchi look good." The book adds that other members view Takahashi as "foolish" because he does not "seem to put much thought into his comments." Takahashi has medium length brown hair, his most promonant feature are his large nose and huge built, he can be quite shy and clumsy but he is useful to some degree.

The Vice President of Marketing, Hatori is the illegitimate son of the company president and uses this fact to benefit himself. How to Read states that he "appears to be something of a lightweight" and that he cannot handle the pressures of the meetings. After Hatori makes a "careless outburst", the Yotsuba Kira kills him. Hatori is a tall male with a good built, his white hair in a short buzzed hairstyle. Despite his status never uses his fathers name to his advantage he rather earn his way up, an honest man but this honesty can get him in trouble, when that happens he tends to fold easily, bending to higher ups stare.
