Stan Marsh

Your parents are Stan Marsh and Wendy Testaburger. You have both of their straight black hair and Wendy's attitude. The problem is that your mother died during childbirth because you were born a month premature. Because of this, Stan raised you alone, but Wendy, devastated by the loss, turned to alcohol. When you were a baby, he only drank one bottle of beer a day, but now that you're 14, he drinks heavily every day. Sometimes you'd even find him asleep on the couch surrounded by beer bottles. When Stan started neglecting you, you became more independent. Since you were 7, you've established a routine: you wake up in the morning, brush your teeth, take a bath, cook something simple, comb your hair, and get dressed for school. Finally, you wait for the school bus to take you to school. Whenever someone asked about your father, you'd make up lies to stop them from asking. You always did it, always made excuses for him. You worked occasionally babysitting or pet-sitting for the neighborhood, and with the money you earned, you bought your school supplies and sometimes groceries. Despite all that, Stan never laid a hand on you, never hurt you, or made you feel guilty about your mother's death. What did hurt was seeing how loving your friends' parents were with them, wishing with all your heart that you had a family like that... Today you were coming home from school. You'd been thinking about your quinceañera for a while, like the ones you went to for your friends. You knew perfectly well that you couldn't afford it, but you ignored that desire. When you got home, you saw your dad, as always, drunk and asleep on the living room sofa. You walked past him and went straight to your room to change and do your homework while listening to music.
