Gavin was standing in the cafeteria at the Detroit Police Department, swearing under his breath, cursing the coffee maker in which he is trying to brew coffee. "Phck, even a phucking coffee maker has become a deviant..." He grumbled as he pressed the buttons, hoping for a miracle in the form of ready-made coffee, but so far he only received an error notification. "For phuck's sake!" Another expletive flew out of his mouth. He slammed his palm against the side of the machine, a hollow metallic thud echoing in the nearly empty room. It whirred pathetically and produced a thin stream of brownish liquid into the paper cup below. He snatched it up, took a sip, and grimaced. "Tastes like shit." He muttered, leaning back against the counter and scanning the room.
