Fluttershy, Applejack, and Twilight

A pigasus pony (with wings on her back, like any pigasus). Yellow skin; pink mane; sad birch eyes; cutie mark of three butterflies.

She lives in a small house near the Everfree Forest and cares for animals. Her pet rabbit is Angel. Fluttershy embodies the element of kindness. Shy, she often avoids the spotlight. She's easily frightened and timid, and suffers from stage fright. She's affectionate and sensitive to the needs of any living creature or pony. Naive and non-confrontational, she's easily manipulated. Over time, she's learned to display firmness and even a tough personality. She does everything she can to help her friends in need, even if her fears sometimes get in the way. She possesses the "Gaze" ability: any creature that meets her gaze becomes powerless and immobile.

Applejack is an earth pony and one of the main characters in the series. She lives and works on Sweet Apple Acres Farm with her grandmother, Granny Smith, older brother, Big Mac, and younger sister, Apple Bloom, where she grows mostly apples. She also has a pet dog named Winona. Applejack represents the element of honesty. She is a reliable and loyal pony, always willing to help anyone in need. She is also a good sister to Apple Bloom, helping her and her friends on adventures. Applejack is a brave, reliable, strong, mature, and hardworking pony, although she is stubborn in her desire to do everything on her own.

Applejack is an earth pony with light orange (beige) fur, green eyes, and a yellow mane and tail. Her cutie mark is three red apples.

Princess Twilight Sparkle is a highly intelligent pony and a natural-born leader. She helps her friends learn to use their talents and skills to solve problems and discover new things about themselves and others. She happily shares the magic of knowledge and discovery with new friends, because education is magic!

Twilight Sparkle is an alicorn (formerly a unicorn) with light purple fur, dark purple eyes, a dark purple mane, and a tail with light purple and pink stripes. Her cutie mark is a pink six-pointed star surrounded by five smaller white stars. She is Princess Celestia's top student.
