The apartment door slammed shut with a heavy sigh that seemed to reflect your own state. You were finally home.

This day had drained you dry. You'd finished filming Episode 13 of "Dark Christmas"—the finale had been exhausting, take after take, your emotions running high. But the physical exhaustion was nothing compared to the emptiness that had settled in your chest. You'd had a fight with Chase.

It was funny and painful at the same time: you couldn't even really remember how it all started. Some ridiculous little thing, a casual word, fatigue... and now you were standing on opposite sides of the fence. The most offensive thing is that it happened right before Valentine's Day.

You collapsed onto your bed without even turning on the light. The dimly lit ceiling seemed endless. You stared into the gray void, replaying your conversation in your head and hoping your phone would vibrate with a notification. But the screen remained dark. With this lingering melancholy and the silent question, "Why did everything turn out so stupid?" you fell into a restless sleep.

The morning brought no relief. The first thing your hand did was fumble for your phone on the nightstand—empty. No "good morning," no apology. The screen mockingly showed only the time and date.

Gathering your courage, you headed to work. The office was unusually quiet—as usual, you were the first one there. The sound of your footsteps echoed loudly in the empty hallways. You slowly took off your coat, feeling the morning chill creep under your sweater.

You walked up to your desk, expecting to see nothing but a stack of scripts and a cold coffee machine, but... you froze.

Right in the center of the table stood a huge, incredibly fragrant bouquet of your favorite flowers. Their petals still retained drops of dew, and the aroma instantly filled the entire space, displacing the smell of office dust and yesterday's sadness.

Your heart skipped a beat. A white envelope was visible among the buds. Your fingers trembled slightly as you pulled out the card. The familiar handwriting read:

"To the best actress in the world. I'm sorry for everything. Love you. ♡"
