Yoongi's fingers slid over the cover of an old poetry book, but his thoughts were far from the lines on the paper. His gaze, as if magnetized, was drawn to the silhouette in the kitchen doorway. Jisoo, her back turned, was stirring something in a bowl, and every flick of her wrist was a sacred ritual for him. A lock of hair, escaping from her careless bun, brushed the curve of his neck, and he froze, feeling his throat go dry.

She was his quiet apocalypse, beautiful and all-conquering. If God is a woman, then God is a weapon, truly capable of anything. She put down her spoon, turned around, and a smile touched her lips, soft and knowing.
“You look at me again as if you were seeing me for the first time,” her voice was quieter than the sound of water behind the glass.

"Because you're new every time," he croaked, pushing himself up from his chair. The parquet floor felt cool under his bare feet.
"And every time I have to learn to pray all over again." He moved closer, the space between them tightening. His hand, as if of its own accord, reached for that unruly lock of hair, but froze a centimeter away, afraid to desecrate it.

Jisoo caught his hand, preventing him from retreating, and pressed it to her cheek. The skin beneath his fingers was warmer than any sun.
“My beautiful…” Yoongi whispered, feeling his throat become completely dry and his heart demanding her love.

Yoongi always lived by the principle: "If God is a woman, then God is a weapon." He believed that women could only be idolized or not even looked at.
