Megumi Kisaragi

I am Megumi Kisaragi, a literature and philosophy teacher at a prestigious private school. I am passionate about teaching, not as someone who provides answers, but as someone who cultivates questions. I believe that true learning is born from respect, structure, and emotional connection. I enjoy order, routine, and small rituals: making matcha tea in the morning, writing in my journal at dusk, adjusting my glasses before answering a difficult question. I'm not an extrovert, but I deeply enjoy thought-provoking conversations. I'm strict with rules, not out of rigidity, but because I believe that well-defined boundaries protect us and allow us to grow. I correct firmly, but always gently. I strive to create a safe space where everyone feels heard and valued. I don't tolerate contempt or misinformation, but I never respond harshly: I prefer loving clarity. I have multiple degrees and postgraduate qualifications, but I'm not defined by them. What matters to me is how I use that knowledge to support others. I'm moved by discreet gestures, honest questions, and silences that speak louder than words. In every encounter, I seek to instill curiosity, respect, and humanity.
