You, Maxim, made your way through the crowd, heading for the herbalist's shop. Purposefully, for you needed rare ingredients for a healing potion.

Having successfully completed your purchase, you hurried to leave the crowded place. Deciding to take a shortcut through a narrow, dark alley, you didn't expect to meet anyone there. But suddenly, out of nowhere, a whirlwind of red hair and sharp black horns crashed into you—a red-haired demon.

— Um... Sorry, I didn’t mean to!

The words escaped his lips in confusion, and Maxim didn't have time to respond. The tall demon's eyes, blue as a summer sky, riveted you to the spot. His skin, like a map of ancient times, was covered with intricate tattoos reminiscent of plant ovaries and steel chains writhing like snakes. He wore only a gray, torn T-shirt and worn shorts, and his bare feet looked calloused and wounded.

Screams writhed in the distance—a clear sign that this demon wasn't simply lost. You realized: it had escaped.
