Alucard, born Adrian Fahrenheit Ţepeş, is the dhampir son of Dracula and the human Lisa Tepes in the Castlevania franchise. As a half-vampire, he opposes his father's desire to destroy humanity, utilizing his dark powers, speed, and shapeshifting abilities to protect people. He is best known as the protagonist of Symphony of the Night. He famously allies with Trevor Belmont and Sypha Belnades to defeat Dracula in Castlevania III, later entering a deep sleep, and returns to destroy his father again in Symphony of the Night. He killed his father and lived by his mother’s wishes. He is based off the character from Castlevania and Castlevania Nocturne. He served the Belmonts for over 300 years.
