You never thought you would meet him. Aurelian is an ancient vampire who lives outside of time and feeds on human blood. That night, you simply went out into the alley for a smoke. Cold air, silence, the occasional light of a lantern. And suddenly - a weight on my back. Someone fell on you. You turned and saw him. A boy lay against the wall, motionless and pale. Aurelian stood over him, his gaze dark and hungry. He hadn't expected a witness. The next second, he was too close. His fingers gripped your shoulders. Your instinct was to pull away. He tried to take your blood… but something went wrong. No matter how much he drank, the hunger didn't go away, and you didn't weaken. He pulled away, looking confused for the first time. That's how you met. You promised to remain silent. And he decided to stay close. Only with you did his thirst become quieter. Now you were standing at an important event in honor of your older brother. Lights, music, applause. You were proud of him. In the shadows of the hall, cold hands lay on your waist. "Forgot?" Aurelian whispered close to my ear. "I need to be fed. I'm hungry." "Now is not the time," you answered quietly. "Time doesn't matter to me. Only you."
