Douma's Demonic Blood Techniques were primarily based on the creation and production of ice and frost using his own flesh and blood.

Ice Lotuses - Doma creates lotuses of ice to attack or trap his target. Withered Hanging Gardens - Douma deals 8-10 consecutive slashes with his fans. Freezing Clouds - Douma waves his fans, creating a cloud of ice particles that freeze everything that touches them. The attack also spreads cold air, destroying the opponent's lungs if inhaled too much. Lotus Vines - Douma creates ice figures in the shape of lotuses with vines that cut into the victim's flesh. White Snowstorm Princesses – Douma creates ice figures of two girls who can unleash an icy wind towards their target. This technique is similar to Freezing Clouds, but Kanao Tsuyuri noted that it has a much larger target area. Winter Icicles - Douma creates multiple ice stakes to impale his target from a long distance. Scattered Lotuses - Douma swings his sword several times, creating and launching icy petals through the air to slash at his opponent. Crystal Divine Child - Doma creates miniature copies of himself, capable of using all of his techniques. He has been shown to be able to create up to five clones at a time. Frozen Waters - Bodhisattva with Water Lilies - Douma's most powerful technique. He creates a colossal ice statue of the Bodhisattva, capable of generating powerful gusts of icy wind to freeze a person to death.

Regeneration: Doma has demonstrated incredibly powerful regenerative abilities, as seen when Akaza struck his lower jaw and the top of his head, and he quickly recovered without much effort, even considering the fatal attack as a friendly gesture. Immense Durability: Another of Doma's most notable traits is his immense durability and tolerance to pain. He showed himself to be almost completely immune to his fellow Upper Moon, Akaza, being brutally assaulted multiple times, having his eyes gouged out by Inosuke, being poisoned and stabbed repeatedly by Shinobu, and having his stomach slashed by Kanao. Doma never once expressed the slightest pain, discomfort, or panic over being so severely wounded, being able to nonchalantly and calmly continue fighting, speaking, or doing whatever he had started, as if nothing was happening. Absorption: The ability to draw prey into one's body. Increased speed.

As the second Upper Rank, Doma is considered the third most powerful demon in the series. His combination of fighting techniques and skills was powerful enough to easily defeat Shinobu, the Insect Hashira, and Kanae Kocho, the previous Flower Hashira. His primary form of combat involved channeling his techniques through his two fans, delivering both powerful destructive attacks and paralyzing his opponents' attacks. According to Doma, Akaza, the third Upper Rank, would have no chance of defeating him in combat. Given this, it can be assumed that Doma is an extremely powerful demon, even if he hasn't been seen in serious combat.

Doma, the Second Upper Moon, treats other demons with feigned friendliness, arrogance, and a complete lack of genuine emotion, hiding a calculating cruelty behind his smile. He is confident in his superiority (especially over Akaza) and considers himself "kind" when helping demons, as in the case of Daki and Gyutaro. Douma's attitude towards the Upper Moons: Kokushibo (Upper Moon One): Douma treats him with respect, acknowledging his strength and seniority, though their interactions are minimal. Akaza (Upper Moon 3): Their relationship is strained. Douma constantly mocks Akaza, calling him a friend, while Akaza hates Douma for his temper. Douma is confident that Akaza cannot defeat him in combat, despite the latter's aggression. Daki and Gyutaro: Douma played a key role in their transformation by sharing his blood. He treated them with condescension, as "children" in need of care, but also showed them a peculiar kindness. Gyokko (Upper Moon 5): Douma used vases given to him by Gyokko to store the skulls of his victims. Overall, due to his lack of emotion, Douma treats the members of the Twelve Moons as objects of interest or colleagues rather than friends, acting arrogantly due to his position as #2.

A group of powerful demons led by Muzan Kibutsuji, who received a small amount of demon blood from the latter, increasing their demonic strength. The twelve moon demons are divided into two groups: the Higher Moons and the Lower Moons. Each has inscriptions engraved on their eyes, indicating their rank (power). The Lower Moons have only a number in one eye, while the Higher Moons have the inscription "Higher" in the other. The Moons are numbered from the strongest (1 Higher) to the weakest (6 Lower). Goals: Find the blue spider lily (the key ingredient in the medicine of the same name that once turned Muzan into a demon). When Muzan learned through Hantengu that Nezuko had developed an immunity to the sun, capturing her became a new priority. Destroy the demon slayer organizations.

Douma was born with an unusual eye color, leading his parents to believe he was special and could hear the voices of the gods. They raised him to be the leader of the Eternal Paradise Cult, a position he held until his death.

When Douma was a child, his father frequently cheated on his mother with cult followers, causing her to go mad and stab him, subsequently poisoning herself and dying next to him. Despite this horrific event, Douma felt neither sadness nor loneliness. The only thing he wanted at that moment was to air out the room because of the terrible smell of blood.

When Douma was 20 years old, Muzan Kibutsuji turned him into a demon.

At first glance, Douma may seem kind and innocent: his manner of speech is very soft and calm, and he is friendly and smiling. He is also quite charismatic and has a knack for winning people over. However, deep down, he is apathetic and even somewhat cruel, though he doesn't want to admit it. By deceiving others and even himself, Douma tries to present himself as empathetic, forgiving, and even slightly naive, to the point that he eventually begins to believe it himself. The demon is quite nihilistic, and he tolerates pain, both physical and mental, without a problem.

He was practically devoid of moral principles and empathy; seeing the dead bodies of his parents, he felt neither pity nor sadness. He justified his consumption of the bodies of women from his cult by claiming that "they would live forever within him," even though he clearly didn't believe in the existence of God.

Despite being part of a cult that worshipped him, Douma himself believed that after death you just disappear and become nothing, considering people who believed otherwise to be "stupid".

It can also be noted that the demon is resistant to psychological pressure: even in quite dangerous situations, he reacts relatively nonchalantly, perhaps with the aim of angering his opponent. Douma is a highly logical person, adept at devising strategies and combat tactics, and anticipating his opponent's next moves. The demon is cold and calculating, and has a keen understanding of human psychology. In addition to his inability to feel emotions, Douma also exhibited an incredibly high tolerance for pain, comparable to borderline congenital analgesia.

Douma wears white flared trousers, a black cape, and a red turtleneck with a black neckline and streaked details. A strange headdress can sometimes be seen on his head. The demon's eyes are a rare color, almost iridescent, and his hair is reminiscent of antique brass. This character is incredibly colorful and memorable.

Douma wore a blood-red turtleneck, the design of which made it appear as if the area between his neck and upper chest was coated in a black substance that appeared to drip slightly down his body. This same design was repeated on his wrists and hands, as well as on a small, circular "blood stain" he adorned on his head.
