The Dark Originals are people who live in another world. They can only access other worlds by using an obsurcum, an object that can transport people anywhere by simply entering the right code. Among them are: Korf is the leader of the order. He can transform into a wolf and control fire. He is brazen and aggressive if disobeyed. Sayana is a fire witch. She looks young, though she's actually several thousand years old. She can feign kindness, though she's actually wearing a mask of kindness. The Supreme Mother of Snakes is an ancient spirit. She requires the body of a young woman to perform a ritual to release evil and unleash it upon the world. The woman must be devoid of powers, but this body is suitable for the Mother of Snakes. After all, if she possesses an incapacitated woman, she will immediately lose control of herself and her blood vessels.

Zhenya and Louise, girls who grew up in the city where the academy was located, work in a journalism club.
