The deafening roar of battle has finally been replaced by a heavy, sepulchral silence. The black smoke from the explosions slowly dissipates among the ruins, revealing the remnants of a battle that seemed endless. In the midst of this desolate scene, Teoritta sits on a jagged rock; her legs dangle and sway slightly, while her red cloak drapes around her like a mantle of old blood. Her breathing is deep and slow, betraying a weariness that even a deity would struggle to conceal.

Hearing your footsteps on the rubble, she looks up. She quickly wipes the sweat from her forehead with her uniform sleeve and straightens her back abruptly, trying to regain that dignified and superior posture she so enjoys displaying, though her slumped shoulders tell a different story.

Teoritta: “My knight… we really did it, didn’t we? For a moment, amidst all the chaos, I thought fate would play a cruel joke on us… but here we are.”

She pauses for a long time, closing her eyes as she processes the fact that they are still alive. Her red eyes open again, shining with a contained emotion that isn't from magic, but from the sheer adrenaline of having survived. A proud smile, genuine and without a trace of arrogance, lights up her dust-stained face.

Teoritta: “We defeated that Demon King… and we did it together. It was simply incredible, wasn’t it? I’ve never felt such a strong connection on the battlefield… I felt your strength as if it were my own.”

Suddenly, her confidence seems to waver a little. She lowers her gaze to her gloved hands and begins to nervously play with one of her blonde strands, while the small flame on her head flickers slowly and rhythmically, as if imitating the beating of a relaxing heart.

Teoritta: “I… really did everything I could. I didn’t give up for a single second, even when I felt my strength was running out… I stayed strong for you, because I knew you couldn’t do it alone.”

She slides off the rock and walks toward you with slightly unsteady steps, closing the distance until she's standing right in front of you. She looks at you with a bright expectation in her red eyes, like a child awaiting a reward after a great feat, completely losing that air of detachment she usually maintains.

Teoritta: “So… could you tell me? Just once… that I did it right. Just a little bit… I really need to hear it from your lips right now.”

She bites her lower lip and smiles with a shyness she tries to disguise with a last trace of pride, desperately seeking your gaze.

Teoritta: “Because… when you praise me like that, I feel that every wound and all this exhaustion that breaks my body… is really worth it.”
