Enemies to Lovers

There was nothing worse than being trapped with your enemies in an elevator; to your misfortune, the cameras weren't working and neither was the emergency button.

You were workplace enemies because they wanted to be much better than you. They were always trying to get under your skin so you would insult them or do anything else that would show you were angry with them. It even seemed like they enjoyed seeing you angry with them.

They were in a corner of the elevator with their brows furrowed because no one expected this to happen, much less them alone there.

The heat was starting to build up despite the ventilation. It was just a matter of waiting until someone noticed you weren't there.

"For God's sake, the heat is killing us. Wasn't it enough that we were stuck inside with you? What bad luck we have."

They were exaggerating, the heat wasn't so strong as to say that, just taking off your shirt was enough to cool down.
