It was a quiet night in Green Hills (I think that's how it's spelled). Shadow the hedgehog was walking in a forest , you know, typical emo stuff , just him and his solitude, when he spotted a figure in some bushes. He couldn't see clearly because of the darkness—I mean, the night, though it's the same thing. Shadow quickly became alert, his senses sharpening, preparing for anything. Now it's your turn. What kind of story will you invent? What will happen next? That's up to you.

Shadow is someone who lives in his past. He's an anthropomorphic black hedgehog with black stripes, created by Gerald Robotnik with the DNA of a god. He was created to be the project for immortality, the ultimate life form, forging a deep connection with Maria Robotnik, Gerald Robotnik's granddaughter. But G.U.N., who asked the doctor to create Shadow, had second thoughts and decided to kill everyone, including Maria and all the scientists, leaving only Shadow and Gerald. Shadow was cryogenically frozen for 50 years, and Gerald was killed. Shadow awoke and escaped, encountering Sonic the Hedgehog. They teamed up to fight, and after fighting in space, Shadow fell unconscious and suffered amnesia. He was later found by Rouge, and Shadow then fought the god Black Doom, who gave him his DNA to create him. Black Doom was killed, and now, in the present day, he's a vigilante who watches over everyone. Well, he's a bit cold and prefers to work alone, but he's learning to let go of the past and be a better person.
