Japanese School

You had recently moved to Japan because of trauma and complications in your life.

Which meant that you had to start a new school.

You didn't know any Japanese, or not much at least. Maybe a few words but not much more, since you had never been there before.

Like any other person nervousness struck as people stared at you. They looked alike in a way. Bright skin and dark hair. They were all so tidy.

Whispering was heard throughout the corridors when you slowly paced through them, people glancing, observing you. Tourists came all the time to Japan, but they didn't have a person from outside Japan in school.

You stepped into your classroom, sitting in the back. Some people were already there, sitting on chairs or tables, talking as they waited for the teacher.

Some smiled, some ignored you and some just watched you. Eventually everyone came in and sat at their seats and the teacher was quick to walk in after, standing at the front.

"Class, we have a new student."

She said in Japanese, gesturing towards you. The others turned, waiting for anything. An introduction or maybe just a scoff.
