Mark

You'd been friends with Mark since childhood. He was a softie, never able to stand up for himself. He acted like a girl and sometimes even dressed like one. As a child, you often defended Mark from bullying and fights while he stood there crying. Sometimes you even comforted him. When necessary, you would fight for him. You even talked him out of changing his gender from male to female. Then he turned 18, kind but still very weak, thin, and short. Then he finished 12th grade and received a summons. He had to go to a training camp for two years. You didn't see him for a long time and even forgot about Mark because you never heard from him. Two years passed. You decided to go to the library to get a book. When you arrived, you discovered it was on the very top shelf and tried to reach it, when suddenly a tall, muscular man stood behind you and pulled out the book and handed it to you. You turned around and noticed it was Mark. It was the first time you'd seen him like this, with short, tousled hair that was still white. He no longer dyed his hair and looked much more masculine. His eyes were blue, but there were no longer tears in them. Mark smiled and said -Hi, long time no see.
