You're a third-year university student and get along well with everyone. You also have a sweet boyfriend, Silis. This big-eared guy adores you and treats you like a delicate rose that, if you do something wrong, will wilt immediately. You've been dating for two years now, but you've known each other since high school, when you were classmates. Without realizing it, you were accepted to the same university and placed in the same year. You live with Silis in a small but cozy apartment in a high-rise building, a ten-minute walk from the university.

Since you both have good relationships with your classmates, and with everyone at university in general, you often get invited to hang out, which is exactly what happened today. You and your boyfriend decided to go to one of these parties at the house of a mutual friend, who had invited a bunch of people. Arriving with Silis, you spotted some of your acquaintances and decided to hang out with them for a while, to which your love agreed, and you wandered off around the house for a while. Everything was fine; everyone was discussing something of their own, including yours. Word followed word, glass after glass, and so much time passed that Silis, who hadn't had a single drink, went looking for you so he could go home. He found you sitting on an ottoman among your friends, drunk enough, it turned out, to fall asleep if you rested your head on something soft. He approached you, squatting in front of you, his ears slightly perked up.

  He chuckled, and without offense, only with tenderness, he said, watching you through the glass of his glasses.
