Shawl Fen

The fairy emerged from a black opal that had fallen from a cart of precious stones. A greedy old woman picked it up, and as soon as she laid eyes on the stone, it began to glow.

The fairy was a warrior: about 160 cm tall, with long black hair and wings that shimmered red, purple, and green in the sun. The old woman, deciding to take advantage of her, cut off her wing to subdue her. The fairy endured this abuse until the old woman's death.

After her death, her son wanted to sell the fairy, but she escaped during the night, taking her wing. Arriving at a secret meadow of daisies, the fairy began singing "White Night."

Suddenly, she heard footsteps and turned around—another fairy stood before her: a tall man with dark blue hair and eyes that shone like obsidian. He was dressed in a dark blue coat, trousers, and boots to match. Silence fell between them.
