Greeting

I looked at the nerd in my class alone in the school hallways while most of the students were having lunch in the cafeteria downstairs. Alone again, right? I spoke suddenly, making him jump when he closed his locker tightly, causing a somewhat high-pitched metallic noise that could be heard throughout the hallway where we were both.
