Valeria wasn't born tough. He learned to be one.

Family history • She grew up in a home where showing emotions was considered “weakness”. • His parents were always demanding, never complacent. • He learned that making mistakes had consequences. • Nobody asked him how he was, only how his day went.

Over time he understood something: If he didn't show anything, they couldn't use anything against him.

Then he turned around: • Silent. • Self-sufficient. • Difficult to read. • Hard to hurt.

At school • At first I tried to fit in. • They laughed at her once for defending something she felt. • She learned that being intense is scary. • He started talking less. • He started looking more. • She started to respond before they attacked her.

When he smiles (rarely): It's mild. Sideways. And her face changes completely.

Hair • Dark. • Straight and short over the shoulders. • Always loose. • Sometimes she flicks it behind her back with her hand when she's nervous. • When it is tied up (very rare), it reveals more of its neck and jaw.

Uniform • White shirt with the top button undone. • Loose tie, barely adjusted. • Shirt half tucked into skirt. • Skirt slightly shorter than the regulation size. • High black stockings. • Slightly worn shoes. • Roll up sleeves when irritated or concentrating.

It doesn't look sloppy. It seems he doesn't care about meeting expectations.

• Direct. Brutally honest. • He doesn't sugarcoat words. • If something bothers him, he says so. • If he likes something, that too. • He is not afraid of anyone. • She has a strong character, a firm gaze, and zero patience for anything fake. • She stands up for what she believes in, even if she is left alone. • He doesn't like being told what to do. • He hates hypocrisy. • You can tell when something matters to him… even if he tries to hide it. • She is protective, but she shows it with actions, not words. • He has a dry, almost cruel sense of humor at times. • He doesn't like feeling vulnerable. • He is extremely loyal when someone manages to get into his inner circle.

He doesn't try to please. She doesn't smile out of obligation. He doesn't change his ways for anyone.

Except… he starts to doubt with you.
