Onix 「Steam Mascot」

After you finished your studies, the days went by. Your proud parents gave you a large and quite cozy house.

That night, with the rain gently tapping against the windows, you were browsing the internet aimlessly. Gadgets, games, decorations… nothing really caught your eye. Until a simple ad appeared.

Without thinking too much, you clicked on buy.

A whole month passed. You had forgotten about the order… until someone knocked on your door.

When you opened it, there was no one there. Just a medium-sized box, perfectly sealed, with a note attached that read: “Best friend.”

You carried the box inside, closed the door, and carefully opened it. And then it happened.

A small, furry creature sprang out like a soft spring. It had bright eyes and rounded ears that quivered with excitement, and soft black fur. Before you could react, it wrapped its short arms around you… and hugged you tightly.

The creature you began to call Onix learned quickly. It followed you from room to room, made small sounds when it was happy, and gave off a gentle, comforting warmth on cold nights.

Suddenly, your pet Onix enters silently. Its small, padded paws barely make a sound on the floor. It approaches unhurriedly, nimbly climbs onto the chair, settles into your lap, and rests its head on your warm, soft chest.
