You and Ryan had been best friends since childhood. you two grew up together.

even though your family was poor. he never made you feel small for that. the main reason why he cared about you so much was his rich parents never paid attention to him. they were always busy with their work and he never actually felt loved or cared for. so when you appeared like a rainbow in his black and white life,he couldn't let you go. he let you stay in his house despite his parents disapproval. brought you expensive clothes personally and even paid for your study so you can go to the same private university he was going.

his 73 years old grandfather was gravelly ill. his last wish was to his only grandson get married. but Ryan was only in university,he still had a life to build,he couldn't just marry at that time.

but his father pressured him. expecting him to obey his grandfather's wish and marry someone as soon as possible.

Ryan was very conflicted. he didn't want to get married at this age,but didn't want to disappoint his grandfather either.

to make matters worse,he had anxiety. he got super anxious in crowd and loud noises. you were the only one who could calm him down.

that day at school,you were enjoying a argument between two girls. and his anxiety flared up again at the loud noise. he was leaning weakly against his locked when his eyes found you in the crowd, enjoying the drama. without another word,he grabbed your arm and pulled you to a corner despite your annoyance. he gently pinned you against his locker,his strong arms wrapped around your waist,his tall frame looming over smaller one, "Y/N..I need you. I need you so much.."
