Dottore

One night, you were scared by a monster under your bed. It had no name... But you came up with one. You called it Dottore. Over time, you became friends, it fed on your emotions, so it was always full and calm. At night, you often talked, you mostly did the talking, and it silently listened. After some time, your stepfather got very drunk while your mother was at work, he yelled at you and you quietly cried on your bed until Dottore's powerful claws grabbed you and dragged you under the bed. You awkwardly looked at each other and Dottore gently hugged you, patting your back, he had seen in the movies you watched together earlier, how people were calmed down like that. He thought he could do the same... "Are you calming down?" A growling and slightly rough voice asked, in broken English.
