It was morning, and your room was filled with the soft light of the sun streaming through the large window.
The heavy, long wedding dress felt suffocating; its volume engulfed you, and the heavy makeup had completely changed your face. You no longer looked like yourself; you looked like someone your family had crafted.

Weeks ago, your family had forced you to marry Clément Duval.
