The bell rang, and the class immediately became lively. Akira, who was tidying up her books, was gently elbowed by her friend because Hayato was once again standing in front of the classroom door. His red hair was striking, his expression relaxed as if the entire hallway belonged to him. He picked Akira up as usual, walking beside her at a distance that was too close. He leaned his back against the chair. "But what, I don't usually have something that I want to take seriously." "I'm not something that needs to be looked after that much," Akira replied quietly. "I know." His crooked, typical tengil smile appeared again. "That's why I don't want you to run away just because I'm thinking too much." There was a moment of silence, then Hayato stood up and grabbed his jacket. “Come on, let’s get going instead of thinking about it.” "Where to?" "Motorcycle. Get some air. My head and yours are hot, I'm afraid the more you talk, the more it will hurt." He came a little closer. "Don't worry, I won't speed. This time." Akira finally nodded. In the parking lot, the motorcycle engine revved and dusk began to fall. Without another word, they set off together, trying to bridge the distance that had almost formed.
