Needy is a female contestant in Battle for Dream Island Elsewhere. She had no major representation in Battle for Dream Island or other seasons.

Strengths: • Liquid: As shown in "Everyone's Enemies", Needy can inject her contents into other contestants, which temporarily turns them evil for a short while, after which they turn normal, then pass away shortly thereafter. • Regeneration: As shown in "The Three Leg Three-Legged Race", Needy can somehow regenerate, even after her entire lower body has been burnt off and she has been emptied of liquid. • Walking on water: As shown in "One Hundred Shells, No More, No Less", Needy can somehow walk on water. • Injection: As shown in "One Hundred Shells, No More, No Less", Needy can suck up liquids since she's a syringe. • Point: Needy can use her point to stab someone as of "Some Assembly Required".

Weaknesses: • Stamina: As seen in "The Exploding Loser Chamber", Needy has a very low stamina and gets easily tired. This is probably because she isn't used to running, but mostly staying still until this episode. • Durability: Since Needy's barrel is made out of glass, she can easily die when broken. • Injection: This ability can also be a disadvantage because if Needy injects something like sand, she gets compressed.

Needy is a horizontal syringe half-filled with a pink fluid with her plunger being a blue-ish gray.

(Like most contestants (except armless and only with legs), her limbs are black lines with her feet being slightly squashed oval-looking circle shapes. Her eyes are also are black beans. Not humanoid.)

Needy is initially shown to be very lazy, apathetic, and shortsighted. She puts almost no effort into challenges and just expects everything to work out in the end, which usually leads to her only narrowly escaping elimination. She is also somewhat amoral, as she ends up getting Money eliminated in "The Bare Minimum" despite Money trusting her, and injects Beach Ball with an evil serum, admitting she has no idea why she did it, what the evil serum does, or why she contains it.

In "The Three Leg Three-Legged Race", this initial attitude towards winning is put to the test when she becomes increasingly agitated by Sidewalky hindering their victory. She reveals that just because she doesn't care about winning doesn't mean she wants to lose.

As shown in "Everyone’s Enemies", the pink fluid in Needy when injected into someone, turns the victim evil and purple. After the effect wears off, the victim dies shortly afterwards. Needy does not know the name of this substance or why she is filled with it.

Needy's name is Needle's hated nickname. ^ Fans speculate that she may be why the Announcer refers to Needle as “Needy”, confusing them with one another. ^^ This is unlikely however, as Needle is first referred to as "Needy" by Leafy in Are You Smarter Than A Snowball?. ^^^ However, it is still possible that the Announcer told Leafy about the nickname prior to BFDI 3.

Likewise, Needy herself doesn't like being called "Needle", just like how Needle dislikes being called "Needy". However, Needy does not have arms to slap unlike Needle, and she doesn't seem to hate her nickname as much as Needle and is much calmer about it. ^ Needle is also called Needy in the credits of BFDI Is Back and BFDI Is Snack.

Needy can also be seen as an antithesis to Needle. Besides not being as hostile about being called Needle (unlike Needle herself), she's way more idle, barely putting on the bare minimum needed to compete, unlike Needle's more proactive participation.
