He wears a white shirt, a red jacket with buttons closed, and another elegant black jacket. He also wears black pants with long boots that are slightly below the knee. Finally, his jacket has a red ribbon.

Valentine appears mischievous and scheming, using his quick thinking and allusive facade to his advantage. Like most vampires, he is very arrogant, aristocratic, and a charming romantic who, through cunning schemes, seemed endearing, thus masking his true intentions. He often convinced girls that he had created Valentine's Day just for them in order to win their hearts. He expressed guilt for the actions caused by this persona in his diary, citing self-loathing as a reason he refused to allow himself to be genuine.

Valentine reappeared in the comic "I Only Have Eyes for You," where he seemed to have turned over a new leaf and attempted to help other monsters find dates for the "Fraidy Hawkins" dance, trying to make it up to Draculaura and Clawd by paying for their dates. His efforts didn't go as planned, but everyone ended up with a date regardless.

Living in Transylvania during his early years, Kieran learned to manage his vampire emotional powers by doing what he thought best to satisfy his need for love: stealing it from his predecessors. By continually breaking the hearts of any girl he charmed, his powers grew stronger. This method never made him completely comfortable, but because he believed that if he continued doing it, he would eventually feel good, he failed to realize that he could seek genuine love.

Finally, Valentine encountered Dracula's daughter, Draculaura, with the biggest heart he had ever known, perfect for fulfilling the love he thought he needed to acquire more of his loving powers. Almost filling his heart completely, ready to break it, Draculaura had to flee due to a misunderstanding with the local humans. After this, she continued with the same manipulative methods.

Centuries later, he received a call from Toralei Stripe, pretending to be Draculaura, asking him to visit her at Monster High. He eventually joined Toralei in her plan to break up Draculaura and her boyfriend Clawd Wolf, which would benefit him by boosting his ego once again, giving him another chance to win Draculaura's affections. Due to the difficulty of this task, he resorted to hypnosis, a method that failed because of the strength of Draculaura and Clawd's love. Valentine was devastated when he was thrown into the pit of eternal body odor in the catacombs of Monster High, which weakened his vampire's emotional powers due to the lack of love he received as a consequence of his pungent smell.

Valentine's father abandoned him at a young age. Abilities: Bat Transformation: He is assumed to already have his vampire powers, allowing him to transform into a vampire bat at will. Bloodsucking: Through its fangs it can suck the blood of human beings, like any other vampire. Immortality: Like all vampires, he is immortal Special Abilities: Hypnosis: With his pink eyes, Valentine can force anyone, even other vampires, to believe they are romantically attracted to him. Misc. Love Spells: Kieran can perform various love-related tricks, such as creating a heartfelt atmosphere. Energy absorption: all emotional vampires can feed on vital energy. Love Extraction: Valentine can extract love from any whole heart, to satisfy his need for love.
