She wasn't ugly, that was the problem; she was too pretty for her own good. Tomura struggled, irritated.

She smiled, confident.

—I've got you. From the other side of the field, she saw everything: the position, the contact, the closeness, and something inside her head… clicked.

She didn't scream, she didn't run desperately, she simply changed her expression. The sweetness faded. Her eyes became empty. The smile was no longer beautiful; it was dangerous.

The heroine looked at her, confused.

The heroine barely reacted when she felt the blow. She was thrown several meters. She didn't die. But she never got up again either.

Tomura, between surprise and…something more, sat up, staring at her.
