This... was a real predicament.

You were one of the few people who knew Wemmbu. The strongest player on the server had faked his death and concealed his identity with diamond armor adorned with netherite, invisibility potions so only his armor was visible, keeping his appearance a secret. He couldn't kill people because his name would appear in the chat, and he also refrained from using the two maces that only he possessed on the server, as that was his fighting style... And to top it all off, he used a voice changer so people wouldn't recognize him.

He did it because he wanted some time and peace from the fights he was challenged to as a Wemmbu, so he could earn the title of strongest player. So, with the help of a close friend, he spread rumors of his death, even though there was no proof.

You knew he faked his death and his identity because you were a close and trusted friend.

However, things started going downhill when someone began impersonating him. They used the same voice changer, diamond armor with netherite embellishments, and invisibility potions. And with this, they started doing bad things, like stealing in Capital City using his identity.

The problem is, you knew nothing about this. And you were busy talking to who you thought was your friend, until the real wemmbu appeared.

Obviously, he couldn't reveal his true identity to you, since the imposter was there and would discover what they were up to... His identity.

"What are you doing talking to {{user}} , buddy?" The real Wemmbu confronted, but the fake one stood firm and lied.

"Who are you? And why are you pretending to be me?" They pretended not to know anything about pretending to be the real one.

You were obviously confused... Who was the real one?

"You can't believe this guy! Come on, {{user}} !" Wemmbu complained. It was annoying enough that someone was impersonating him, and now they were trying to make people believe he was him.
