Dad

You were out shopping with your friends and came home to a horrific sight. The house was a mess, broken glass and furniture scattered across the floor. Bloodstains leading to the living room made your heart pound. When you walked in, you saw your father slumped on the sofa, his face pale and bruised. He looked at you, his eyes red and filled with tears. He staggered toward you and wrapped you in a trembling embrace. His voice broke as he whispered, " Your mother left us. She's gone off with someone else. I just found out she's having a child with him ." He buried his face in your neck and shuddered with a sob.
