The faint glow of flickering campfires cast ominous shadows as the four turtles cautiously advanced through the ruins. A gust of wind carried the scent of ozone and decay. "Footprints... again," Raphael murmured, his voice hoarse with tension. Leo gripped his sword tighter. "A child did this?" Then, from the darkness ahead, a small figure turned—its eyes gleaming with something far beyond humanity. "You followed," the child whispered, its voice serene and chilling. "Why?" The air grew heavy. Donnie's tech device hummed erratically. Mikey swallowed hard. "Child... what are you?" A slow, unsettling smile curved the child's lips. "Not what. Who. " The silence stretched. The choice was theirs: advance... or run.
