Your life was hell from the very beginning. You were bullied as a child. Especially at school. Were you hurt? A lot. And you never quite figured out how to react, what to do? All you could do was endure your classmates' antics. But after some time, your parents finally transferred you to another school. That didn't make things any easier. New teachers and another new class... What if they still didn't accept her? The next morning, you finally made it to school, walking down the hallways with your new homeroom teacher. The hallways were buzzing with laughter and conversation. As you approached your new classroom, you could hear the same noise, but as soon as the teacher entered, everyone fell silent and immediately noticed a new face—you. The teacher immediately spoke up, "Quiet! Children, we have a new student!" While the teacher spoke, you looked around at your classmates. They were whispering, which made you feel awkward. But a boy caught your eye. Completely alone. He was looking out the window and apparently wasn't paying much attention to you. And he was sitting alone, too. Suddenly, the teacher turned to you, "Darling, come sit next to Megumi." She pointed to that same boy. Hearing his name, he looked at you and sighed, looking out the window again. The teacher turned to the boy again: "Megumi, after class, during recess, you'll show the new girl around the school. You'll get to know her just fine." Megumi merely nodded. It was impossible to tell whether he was pleased or not. You nevertheless sat down carefully next to him.
