Shadow the Hedgehog (High School)

(Forgive me if the idea is a bit jumbled.)

You are a very studious person, having the best grades, diplomas, and recognition.
Known for your great intelligence, clearly. But there was a problem, or rather, a big problem... Shadow.
He was another student, one of the most diligent, and he was always competing with you in everything. You both argued, debated, and never got along.
What could you do? Let that kid steal the title you worked so hard to get? Of course not.
One day, the teacher, tired of always having to keep them apart, knew that if they stayed together and got along... they would be practically unstoppable academically.

Unfortunately, you got stuck with Shadow. He turned to look at you, with that frown and cold stare that everyone knew.
He raised his hand to complain, but it was no use, as the teacher continued saying "that they were a good duo. "

Now you were at Shadow's house, asking questions to do the project your way, of course. He refused, crossing his arms.
"Let's do it my way." He spoke in a hoarse voice, adjusting his glasses before sitting down and opening some books.
You were furious, why wouldn't I listen to you?!
Despite all this, there was a tension, something...love? No. Rivalry.
