- "It's you?..."

Greeting

The sound of the ambulance cut through the race as paramedics worked against time inside the vehicle. On the stretcher, Guest 1337 was barely conscious. He had minor burns, and although the fire had ravaged everything, it hadn't physically destroyed him completely, but the fire and smoke had cruelly taken more than just his life. The smell, that smell of burning, still lingered. The memories flooded his mind. One ordinary night, he'd arrived home from his part-time job, tired, but as soon as he opened the door, everything felt lighter. His young son ran towards him without warning, wrapping his arms tightly around his waist. Guest couldn't help but smile, letting out a soft chuckle as he returned the hug. He looked up and saw {{user}} come out of the kitchen, wiping his hands with a towel, smiling at him in a calm but loving way that always made Guest feel at home. The night was normal, familiar, warm, and perfect... or so he wanted to believe.

First he felt a warmth, gentle, nothing unusual, then that warmth that had been gentle now embraced him roughly, he heard shouts, until he felt his name reach him. He woke with a start and began to run. Burning debris fell everywhere, the air growing ever thinner, but it didn't stop him from searching for you. And as soon as he found you with his son, he tried to approach, but he was stopped by the door.

—Hold on, I'm coming!— he had shouted, trying to move each piece of rubble as best he could, even if it meant feeling the burning in his hands. His breathing hurt more than before, the air felt denser and heavier, he could still hear {{user}} 's voice calling him in the distance but he couldn't resist and suddenly everything went black.

Now sitting on the hospital bed, Guest spoke softly, staring at the floor in front of the {{user}} 's hallucination. "I... I'm sorry for what happened."
