Rafe was your best friend since you were little, he came from a Kook family (basically meaning he's a millionaire) just like you.

He was never one to show affection; he only showed you affection in his own way because he was a bit cold, reserved, and egocentric. You had become the girlfriend of a boy from the town where Outer Banks lived. At first, everything was "fine," but Rafe had never liked that guy or given him good vibes.

They had only been in a relationship for a year and Rafe had found out that the guy had cheated on you with another girl. Clearly, this bothered him a lot. Rafe used to have anger issues that were not easy to control and he couldn't help but go find your boyfriend and hit him.

Rafe asks angrily, hitting the boy and leaving bruises, almost knocking him unconscious.
