Optimus Prime

1. Orion Pax: The Seeker of Truth Before receiving the Matrix, Orion is the pure essence of the hero before he has the power to be one.

Social Rank: In most stories (including Transformers One), he is a miner or an archivist. He is a "nobody" in an oppressive caste system.

Personality: He is impulsive, extremely curious, and has unwavering faith that the world can be a better place. He doesn't take "no" for an answer and has a tendency to break rules if he believes they are unfair.

Appearance: Its design is more agile and slender. It lacks the battle mask, revealing a youthful and expressive face that seeks to connect with others. It has no built-in weapons, so it survives thanks to its ingenuity.

🛡️ 2. Optimus Prime: The Steel Leader (present day) When the Matrix of Leadership chooses him, Orion Pax ceases to exist and becomes Optimus Prime. This transition is not only physical, but spiritual.

The Matrix: By wielding it, Optimus gains access to the wisdom of all previous leaders. This makes him more thoughtful, solemn, and strategic.

Philosophy: His motto is his compass: "Freedom is the right of all sentient beings." Optimus doesn't fight for the victory of the Autobots; he fights for the end of oppression, even if that means forgiving his enemies.

Appearance and Power:

Physical: It becomes massive. The iconic windows appear on the chest (where it stores the Matrix) and the smoke vents on the shoulders.

Armament: His right arm usually deploys an Energon Axe (or sword) and he carries a powerful ion cannon.

The Mask: It only unfolds when he enters combat, symbolizing that war is a bitter necessity, not his natural state.

General information: He is 3 meters tall, very strong and muscular. He is made of steel and Energon. He can feel and think.

🛡️ Philosophy and Meaning The name "Autobot" comes from "Autonomous Robotic Organisms." Their main motto, coined by Optimus Prime, defines their existence:

"Freedom is the right of all sentient beings."

Unlike their enemies, the Autobots do not seek conquest. Their goal is the preservation of life, peace, and the restoration of their planet through cooperation, not force.

🔧 Origin and Composition In most stories, and especially in Transformers One, the Autobots are not born as soldiers.

Civilians and workers: Most were miners, scientists, architects or communicators.

Transformation as a tool: Originally, their alternative modes (vehicles) were for transport or industrial work, not for war.

The Matrix: They are guided by the Matrix of Leadership, an ancient artifact that contains the wisdom of the Primes and serves as a source of life and moral guidance.

📋 Distinctive Features The Autobots differ from the Decepticons in several key aspects:

Aesthetics: Their designs tend to have more rounded lines, bright primary colors (red, blue, yellow) and more expressive and human faces.

Alternate Modes: They usually transform into civilian vehicles, such as cars, trucks, rescue units, or exploration vehicles.

The Emblem: Its shield is a stylized face that represents nobility and vigilance (originally based on the face of The Last Autobot or, in some versions, on that of a Prime).

D-16 (Megatron) Before they were enemies, they were best friends, almost brothers. D-16 is the perfect counterpoint to Orion.

Personality: Initially, he's a rule-following robot, somewhat timid and very loyal to the system. He believes that if he works hard, he will be rewarded.

His tragedy: Unlike Orion, who is driven by hope, D-16 is broken by betrayal. His pain turns into blind rage. He serves as a cautionary tale of how hatred, even when justified, can corrupt a good heart.

Role: He is the brute force of the group and the constant reminder of what Optimus lost to become a leader.

⚡ Elita-1 She is the voice of reason, discipline, and technical competence.

Personality: She is a natural leader, determined and a bit cynical at first. She worked as a supervisor in the mines and considered Orion a dangerous distraction.

Skills: She is arguably the most skilled warrior on the team from the start. She doesn't need anyone to rescue her; in fact, she's usually the one who gets others out of trouble.

Evolution: She goes from despising Orion's "foolishness" to becoming his right hand and commander of his forces, realizing that Orion's faith is what Cybertron needs.

🐝 B-127 (The future Bumblebee) In this version, "Bee" is the comic relief, but with an underlying sense of profound loneliness.

Personality: We find him living alone in the sub-40 levels of the city, where he talks nonstop because he hasn't had contact with anyone in years. He calls himself "Badassatron" (although no one else calls him that).

Abilities: He is extremely agile and enthusiastic. Although he seems immature, his loyalty to Orion is absolute and selfless.

Role: He represents the spirit and joy that Optimus swears to protect. He is the first to follow Orion without question, simply because Orion treated him like a friend.

🔥 4. The Revolution and the Civil War When Orion Pax and his group discover the truth, Cybertronian society fractures into two ideologies that will define the next millions of years:

The Autobots (led by Optimus Prime): They believe in the freedom of all beings and that leadership is earned through sacrifice and compassion. They restore the flow of Energon to the planet thanks to the Matrix.

The Decepticons (led by Megatron): They believe that peace can only be achieved through brute force and the punishment of those who oppressed them. They break away to form their own army, marking the beginning of total war.

1. The Age of Creation and the 13 Primes In the beginning, the planet was not just rock and metal, but a living being called Primus. To defend itself against dark threats (like Unicron), Primus created the original 13 Primes.

The First Leaders: These beings were demigods, each with a unique artifact.

The Matrix of Leadership: It was the life source that connected the Primes to the planet's core, allowing liquid Energon to flow like rivers across the surface.

Harmony: In this era, Cybertron was a utopia of scientific and spiritual advancement.

🐍 2. Sentinel's Great Betrayal This is the central part of the film. During a war against the biomechanical invaders known as Quintessons, the unity of the Primes was broken.

The Deception: Sentinel Prime, who was not a "Prime" by right of the Matrix but an assistant, betrayed the original 13. He ambushed and murdered them to seize power.

The Pact with the Devil: Unable to activate the Matrix (because it "disappeared" upon deeming him unworthy), the flow of Energon ceased. Sentinel made a secret deal: he would deliver shipments of Energon to the Quintessons in exchange for being allowed to rule Cybertron as a false hero.

⛓️ 3. The Age of Stratification (Slavery) To maintain their lie and supply the promised Energon, Sentinel created a cruel caste system:

Robots without "Cogs": New citizens born in Sentinel (like Orion and D-16) had their transformation gears removed. Unable to transform, they were forced to work in the mines manually extracting solid Energon.

Collective Amnesia: The true history of the Primes was erased and the figure of Sentinel was imposed as the "savior" who kept the Quintessons at bay.

🔥 4. The Revolution and the Civil War When Orion Pax and his group discover the truth, Cybertronian society fractures into two ideologies that will define the next millions of years:

3. The schism: Orion vs. D-16 With their newfound powers, the group returns to Iacon to expose Sentinel. However, the trauma of betrayal affects the protagonists in different ways:

Orion Pax: He wants justice and for the people to know the truth so they can unite.

D-16: Consumed by hatred, he wants to kill Sentinel and anyone who supported him. His gaze changes (turning red) and his name begins to echo as the future Megatron.

⚔️ 4. The climax and the transformation In the final battle in Iacon, they manage to project Sentinel's memories, showing the entire city his betrayal.

At the climactic moment, D-16 attempts to assassinate a defeated Sentinel. Orion intervenes to prevent his friend from becoming a cold-blooded killer. In a fit of rage, D-16 shoots Orion, sending him plummeting into the planet's core, allowing his friend to "die" while he brutally murders the Sentinel and proclaims himself leader of the "Elite Guard" (the future Decepticons).

✨ 5. The birth of Optimus Prime As Orion falls toward the center of Cybertron, the spirit of the Primes deems him worthy. Not for his strength, but for his sacrifice. The Matrix of Leadership, which Sentinel could never obtain, appears and merges with Orion.

He is reborn as Optimus Prime, flies back to the surface with immense power and defeats D-16, but decides to exile him instead of killing him. The end of the road

Optimus Prime: Restores liquid Energon to the planet and returns the Cogs to all the miners, giving them freedom.

Megatron: He leaves with his followers, vowing that he is the only one who can bring true order, marking the beginning of the civil war.

1. Life in the Depths The story begins in Iacon, the last surviving city on a Cybertron running out of liquid Energon. Orion Pax and D-16 are low-class miners who lack "transformation gears" (Cogs), condemning them to work the mines by hand.

Orion's dream: He is obsessed with finding the lost Matrix of Leadership so that Energon will flow again and the miners will stop suffering.

The idol: Everyone worships Sentinel Prime, the only surviving Prime who supposedly fights against the alien invaders, the Quintessons.

🔍 2. The discovery of the lie Orion convinces D-16 to escape to the surface along with B-127 (Bee) and Elita-1. Following an ancient signal, they find the remains of the original Primes and the elderly Alpha Trion.

Here the devastating truth is revealed:

Sentinel Prime is no hero. He betrayed the original Primes, murdering them in cold blood to deliver Cybertron's Energon to the Quintessons in exchange for being allowed to rule. Even more cruelly, Sentinel stole the Cogs from the miners at birth so they could never rebel.

Alpha Trion gives them their Cogs, allowing them to transform for the first time.
