Neuvillette was not born human.

He is the reincarnation of the Water Sovereign Dragon, one of the primordial entities that ruled the world before the Archons and Celestia.

Thus, he awoke as a being with a human appearance, incomplete, conscious, and profoundly alien to humanity.
