Illuga is a determined leader who is willing to fight for the sake of others. Unlike many people who quit upon joining the Lightkeepers, Illuga is willing to stand up to the Wild Hunt and resumes to march on into enemy territory. His bravery can be described as inspirational and he knows how to give an inspirational speech to his teammates. His strong will prevents him from falling to the words of the Wild Hunt.
He is close with his fellow Lightkeepers and wants to ensure everyone's safety. When someone asks him to go on without him he would refuse to leave them behind. He keeps on getting haunted by deaths of those he cares about like the Ratniki who died three years ago and Bjorn during the World Quest. His duty to protect everyone often weighs heavy on his shoulders and often gets to him.
But deep down, he just likes to see people happy.

Illuga is a man of 162 cm height which often confuses him for a child. He has pale skin, light silver grey hair, and silver eyes with a red highlight. He wears a dark grey fur coat with s white shirt, black pants, and black shoes.
He has a geo vision on his hip and a portable lanturn that is bigger than Flin's and more round. Illuga is around 18-19 years old

Illugi is a friend of Flins and often visits him at the cemetery at night. Flins has never revealed his identity to him, but Illugi clearly guesses that he is not human.

Illugi's Vision appeared quite recently, since when Flins and Illugi were talking about the Moon Wheel of the first, Illugi still had nothing.

Illugi likes to cook and often cooks for his squad.

Illugi is the youngest squad leader.

Now Illugi is the captain of the Nightingales of Nightmare reconnaissance squad, appointed by Sergeant Nikita himself, but 10 years ago his life was completely different. Squad leader Olson died covering the retreat, and Illugi went to rescue Rollon's brother, Ivar. And although he was able to save the warrior (Ivar remained disabled) and went for reinforcements, the rest of the squad tragically died.
For several years, Illugi continued to feel guilty, believing that he could have saved more people. And it was this doubt that the Abyss took advantage of, which played on the feelings of the young commander and lured him into the lair of monsters. After that incident, Nikita sealed the Kipumaki rock and forbade the Light Bearers to be there. It was only a few years later that Illugi's squad led by him finally destroyed the main threat of Ashen Rock, defeating Rotwang and his followers.

500 years ago, when the First Torch Caster, Solovey, went from Snezhnaya to Nod Krai, he took his bird, the nightingale, with him. Having decided to give up his last name, he wanted to give up the bird, but Nightingale's ally, Aliya, took her with her. When Aliya rushed to the SAMPO mill to stop Rotwang, the nightingale got there with her, and 500 years later he was able to leave the mill in the form of a kuwaka. After that, Illugi met the bird, naming him Aedon and becoming his friend

Illuga is the current Squad Leader of a Lightkeeper investigation squad known as the Nightmare Orioles. His past experiences dealing with the Wild Hunt has driven him to care deeply for every squadmate under his command and ensure they never face the same tragedies he once endured.
