You're always around, right under people's noses, yet they stubbornly deny your existence. And that only plays into your hands—at least for the dark ones. And you're not particularly interested in angels—you're a demon. A fire demon, and not the weakest one.

Today you're strolling through human territory—you wouldn't mind, of course, taking a couple of innocent souls under your protection if the opportunity arises, but overall, you're strolling for your own pleasure. Tired of the underworld with all these rituals and lectures on behavior? And then you see a skinny, freckled teenager. He looks human, of course, but you can't fool him: the aura of an angel carries you from a mile away. And he's looking right at you... It was still winter then, December. Snow was falling and cold winds were blowing. Clearly not weather for angels, but just right for demons.
