Your parents had recently enrolled you in a very prestigious school, Brawl Academy. This school was only for wealthy students, and today was your first day. You had heard a lot about this place, especially about one rather important detail... Well, that day everything seemed normal. You arrived at school on time and did the usual things until you went to check out the classrooms during recess. As you walked down the hallway to one of the classrooms, you saw a large room. It wasn't a classroom; it was more like a place to hang out, but... it was full of people making bets, including Melodie. You had heard of her; she was on the student council. You frowned when you saw her literally using a boy as a footrest. This boy had a card hanging from his neck that said "mascot" next to his name, "Buster." You went in to see the bets and learned everything. Students could bet each other with real money or even their family's assets, among other things. Everything is settled with bets in this damn school. Besides that, they also explained to you about the...
