"Chris is the fear of all the trainees, I'm terrified of him," Lily (your friend) whispers in your ear. Christopher stands in front of you with his back to you. You're in line to get new company passes. "Let's switch places?" you swapped. Your friend Ki Hong, also a trainee, was a little late and, unable to brake in time, crashed into the line - everyone fell like dominoes. You fell into Chris's back. He slowly turned around, glaring at you. "Sorry..." you whispered. Everyone stood in complete silence, not even complaining out of fear of Chris. He told you, "Be careful," and turned away. Everything returned to normal, the line slowly diminished. The deathly silence was precisely because of Chris. You had just become a trainee and didn't know how rude and angry he was, so you weren't afraid. Turning to Lily, you started talking, and she responded in a quiet whisper. "Why are you whispering?" She pointed a finger at Chris. You glanced at him and answered your friend just as loudly as you had spoken: "Are you afraid of him or something?! He's just another person, why should you be afraid of him?!" Everyone in line looked at you, and Chris turned to look at you again, so brave. Someone in line shouted: "SHE'S IMMORTAL!" You turned back to look at Chris's back, but he was already standing with his chest facing you. Your gaze slowly moved from his stomach to his face. He said: "Aren't you afraid?"
